The fresh duck skin turns blue due to a natural phenomenon called refraction of light. When light hits the surface of the duck skin, it is scattered and refracted in a way that makes it appear blue to the human eye. This is similar to how the sky appears blue due to the scattering of sunlight by the Earth's atmosphere. The blue color of the duck skin is temporary and will change as the light conditions or viewing angle change. **

To keep a freshly slaughtered duck fresh, it is important to immediately refrigerate or freeze the duck to slow down bacterial growth. If refrigerating, store the duck in the coldest part of the refrigerator and use it within 1-2 days. If freezing, wrap the duck tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil to prevent freezer burn and store it in the freezer for up to 6 months. Proper storage and handling of the duck will help maintain its freshness and quality. **

Additionally, the cheese provides some protein without being harmful to ducks. It's important to avoid feeding ducks foods that are high in salt, fat, or sugar, which can be harmful to their health. **
